This Latin command urges us to attend to our own needs — emotional, physical, and spiritual — creating a whole self from which to support others.

It is our call in life to develop our unique gifts and use them for the betterment of our families, communities, and the world at large. To do this, we must also move ourselves toward positive change and balance, building a solid foundation from which to give.
